During the summer the team took to the pub!
It's a tough life we lead...
We went armed with beer mat shaped cards and pens and a mission to find out some stories.
Our developing story kit shared a useful format to get everyone going.
People could make one up or tell us something that had happened in a Calne Pub.... oh the stories that were shared!
Over the next few weeks we will share some of the tales.
Minority Report
My mate Tom had just watched Minority Report. He was demonstrating the sci-fi hand gestures in the film. He was doing it with a pint on a fruit machine. He managed to knock his pint over the machine and short it out (kill it).
You had to be there.
It's Nice to Be Kind
The Tavern. Melksham. Smells like food and dust
Fred, old and ill.
Coffee and Lunch
Me, I bought his lunch. He asked me on a date.
This next one happened the evening we were at the pub. The next time we went in we were presented with the story.

We ran away from home to get a rabbit which we had already been told no to!
We were 11 +9 years old
The main character was me! Sue! And the rabbit!!
I WANTED a rabbit!
As we we AWOL mum and dad came looking for us!
Grounded for a month!
