Paws for pets (pet foodbank)

Josette started the pet foodbank in 2019, and the idea cambe about in 2018.

The pet foodbank started because there were no places in the area and people were struggling with affording pet food.

Josette has always been around animals, she has done dog training & fostering, and this made it natural to start the pet food bank.

Within a year the pandemic hit and altho started well before this, even more people was struggling and on top of this places were shutting including 2 places in Warminster & Wooten Bassett.

The charity being a non profit group relies solely on donations, such as open food (as long as this still has all ingredients, date ect... on) this is the only charity licensed to be able to do this. They also accept tinned pet food, treats, cat food, soft dog beds, toys.

Due to the pandemic and circumstances donations are low and very much needed even more so now.

If you are able to help you can find donation spots below:-

Marias florist - Calne town centre.

Calne pet supplies - Church street

Co-op - Lyneham

Co-op - Greenway lane, Chippenham

& White horse vets - Lyenham
